Ottawa has a large number of talented local musicians and artists who have gone on to successful international careers in a variety of genres and fields. However, two genres of music in which local talent is underrepresented is hip-hop and electronic music. Luckily, there is a group which has merged the two and become of the most successful and recognizable names in Trap music – Thugli. The duo have returned to their hometown to do a show at Barrymore’s this Friday, January 16 with Toronto band Keys N Krates.
